When should I transplant my raspberry bushes?

Dear Looking,

You can transplant them anytime, but they are most actively growing in the spring.  If you can move them before they are fully leafed out, the survival will be much better...Be sure to cut back old canes to 10-12" as you want new growth (next years fruit), not fruit this year. Just water them in well, and continue to water untill they show no signs of stress.

The traditional time to plant your tomatoes outside is around June 1.  You need to keep an eye on the weather, and if there is a chance of frost, then you must keep the plants protected.  Putting good healthy plants in the ground will give you an excellent start on you tomato crop.
